Skate Fittings
It is essential to quality performance that your boots fit properly. When you come in for a skate fitting, we will do a complete evaluation of your feet to determine the size and type of skate you need. We may recommend a special make-up boot, or custom boot, if a stock boot does not work for you. When a second opinion is needed, we will set up an appointment to meet directly with a representative from Riedell Skate Company – just 50 minutes away.

Type of skate
The level of boot you need is determined by several factors:

  1. The amount of time on the ice,
  2. The amount of pressure exerted on the boot (this varies greatly from skater to skater and may be related to the height and weight of the skater but it is not always a direct correlation), and,
  3. The skill level of the skater.
